PSG/MDS Annual Symposium

Since 1987, the Parkinson's Study Group and Movement Disorders Society have co-sponsored an annual symposium on "Etiology, Pathogenesis and Treatment of Parkinson's Disease and Hyperkinetic Movement Disorders preceding the annual meeting of the American Neurological Association. These annual symposia consist of peer-reviewed platform and poster presentations designed to communicate recent research advances in the fields of Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders to professionals in neurology and related disciplines. On Sunday, September 21, 2008, the PSG, in conjunction with the Huntington Study Group, Cooperative Ataxia Group, Dystonia Study Group, Myoclonus Study Group, Tourette's Syndrome Study Group, Tremor Research Group and The Movement Disorders Society (MDS) will sponsor the Twenty Second Annual Symposium on the Etiology, Pathogenesis and Treatment of Parkinson's Disease and Other Movement Disorders which is taking place in Salt Lake City, Utah at The Grand America Hotel. The Symposium will focus on Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders. Session chairs are Jang-Ho John Cha, MD, PhD, and Andrew Siderowf, MD.
